WELCOME TO MAY PROJECT!! last year, i used this writer's volume How to Depict Cute Stuff: Depict Anything and Everything in the Cutest Style Ever! for a monthly project (link here). and then she went out and published THIS book which removes all the 'who cares' stuff similar vehicles and humans and plants and any and filled in those gaps with MOAR ANIMALS! so patently, i'm all over it. at that place are Fifty-5 different animals included, each ane cuter than the i before. or subsequently. both. somehow. ANYW WELCOME TO MAY PROJECT!! last year, i used this writer's book How to Describe Cute Stuff: Draw Anything and Everything in the Cutest Style Ever! for a monthly project (link here). and and then she went out and published THIS book which removes all the 'who cares' stuff like vehicles and humans and plants and whatever and filled in those gaps with MOAR ANIMALS! so obviously, i'm all over it. there are L-FIVE different animals included, each one cuter than the one before. or later on. both. somehow. Anyway, so information technology's going to be tough deciding who doesn't make it onto this projection-ark. ALTHOUGH I AM PRETTY Certain THOSE FLOODWATERS ARE GOING TO BE CHOCK FULL OF BIRDS. i'm not good enough at drawing to be all heroic with this - the all-time i can do with my limited skills is to try and approximate her examples, not go off and create something inspired by them. i am strictly 'monkey encounter, monkey do' when it comes to fine art. or, more precisely, 'monkey see, monkey practice but in a not-as-skilful, kind of wobbly way. monkey doodoo.' okay, without further ado-doo: MAY PROJECT!

MAY 1: i am even so shattered by what happened to those walruses on the second episode of Our Planet, so i am trying to overwrite that imagery in my head with these cute, happy walruses living out their long fatty happy walrus lives with enough of room for walrusing.

MAY ii: armor-dillos!!!

mine await more like hippos in sweater vests and kangol caps, only i do retrieve reading somewhere that in the wild, most hippos accept their fashion cues from samuel l jackson, so this all scans.

I loved it. The animals were and so cute and easy to draw. I have almost drawn all of them. Would highly recommend.

A wonderfully beautiful and easy way to draw animals. My seven year erstwhile granddaughter really enjoyed this book and was able to make her own book of drawings of her favorite animals. Activities like this create nice memories and mementos and this one is #1 in my book!

Extremely cute and easy to draw from. I enjoyed drawing a horse with sparkles while I waited for my son to finish his piano practice 😁

Very adorable, but it didn't have much in the way of actual education. Nonetheless, I had a great fourth dimension working through this with my daughter.
